Programs
- Cutting for a Cause—Like Operation B.I.L.L.Y. G.O.A.T. volunteers remove neighborhood tall grass blight.
- Greater Topeka Landscape Contest—In partnership with Topeka Beautification Assoc. we encourage citizens of Topeka to beautify their own gardens and hold a contest recognizing the best in Topeka.
- KAB/Boy Scout Community Service Program—In partnership with the Boy Scouts, we are connecting the elderly in this community that need help, with boy scouts who need community service projects.
- KAB Friends of Ted Ensley Gardens—Volunteers assist with planting, weeding, and dead heading the beautiful gardens at Lake Shawnee.
- Operation B.I.L.L.Y. G.O.A.T.—A mowing program for the elderly and disabled referred through Code Compliance.
- Parks Pride Days—Cleanup and beautification with Topeka and Shawnee County Parks Departments.
- Topeka Cemetery Cleanup—An annual sprucing up of historic Topeka Cemetery in preparation for Memorial Day.
- Topeka Tree Team—Volunteers help beautify some public areas around Shawnee County by trimming trees and shrubs, and picking up litter.
- Tulip Time Festival—We will join Topeka Beautification, the City of Topeka, and Shawnee County to sponsor and promote a citywide celebration of tulips in the spring.
