Programs

    KAB Beautification volunteers— Jerold Binkley, David Hedstrom, Bob Saathoff and Bill Stumpff all put in many, many hours improving and beautifying our community.

    TAWGS works every month at Ward Meade. Volunteers of Westminster Presbyterian Church work from April through October making their church grounds beautiful.

    KAB Friends of Ted Ensley Gardens—Volunteers assist with planting, weeding and dead heading at Shawnee County’s World Class Ted Ensley Gardens. The board meets once a month. If interested in serving, please contact KAB.

    Master Gardeners–work many hours each month educating and beautifying our community.

    Topeka Audubon Society–help keep our community litter free

    Topeka Beautification Association–TBA and KAB will again partner to beautify gardens in our community.

    Topeka Cemetery Cleanup—Annual sprucing up of Kansas’ most historical cemetery in preparation for Memorial Day. This year our effort will be May 20.

    Tulip Time and Festival of Tulips at the Lake—Promoting our countywide celebration of tulips with Ted Ensley Gardens, Old Prairie Town, Doran Rock Garden and downtown Kansas Avenue being featured. Tulip Festival will be April 9 this year.
